Radical geometry and accessories

Alexis Mabille designs his accessories collections to be complementary stories to his clothing collection. Both graphic and geometric accessories assert this season's radical modernism. Conversely, there are also romantic, precious and sophisticated pieces that offer a dramatic contrast to the geometric spirit of the clothes.

Jewelry. The jewels are always maxi and are presented in chokers and plastron necklaces, earrings and pendants, cuffs and charm bracelets, pins and rings. There are also precious bijoux-belts, boutonnieres and hair ornaments. A modern mirror story: jewels with maxi-mirror plaques that wrap and structure wide cuff bracelets; or pendant earrings and large plastron necklaces composed of graded disc and curved mirrors enhanced with a few bursting crystal stones. A spectacular rhinestone story: huge diamond, long double-string necklaces, bracelets and belts with rhinestone paved maxi hookclasps, matching pendants hold a low-dropping paved large bow; precious, sparkling hook-clasps ,buckles and loops come on black velvet bijoux-belts. Some of these styles also come in black or carmine faceted glass pearls. Sparkling maxi-cuff signature bracelets of white metal or paved letters are presented in pairs with "Alexis" for the right wrist and "Mabille" for the left wrist. Finally, the ever-present trademark bowtie story: this season the bows are micro in size and often in black leather and mixed and matched with rhinestones, crystals and white or black metal chains.

Handbags. In addition to the iconic bowtie clutches which appear in each season's materials and colors, Alexis Mabille has created a finely crafted line of leather bags. Always black and geometrically shaped, these leather bags are trimmed by a line of micro-bows and have handles of elongated chain links in white metal. The styles include totes, front-flap bags, clutches of various sizes and zipped purses. A collection of small purses and wallets complete this micro-bow line.

Shoes. The shoe collection is designed with the same volumetric play of curves, points and V slits that abound in this season's clothes. As always, they have the trademark turquoise sole. High-heeled pumps, sandals, booties and ballet flats draw their inspiration from a geometrically-envisioned bird: details include toes like a bird beak with two wings that wrap around the foot and a V slashed into the back of the ankle to mimic a swallow-tail. Sophisticated with bare or sharply pointed toes, the shoes come only in black while mixing shiny and flat leathers for contrast. Additionally there are styles where the black is combined with accents of bursting primary colors like poppy, lemon and cobalt. A selection of the shoes coordinate with the line of fine leather bags with black micro-bows, sometimes with the embellishment of rhinestone ornaments .There are pumps, also high-heeled sandals with a micro-bow V attached thin straps, and ballet flats in kid, suede, velvet or satin.
